"You ready for the Zoom call, Gabe?" Michael flipped open his body, Tom's laptop.
"Sure," Gabe was feeling nervous about meeting Mary for the first time, having been inside of her body for the last day or so.
The apparent couple huddled around the screen.
"Hey guys!" Gabe heard his own voice blast through the speakers, "How are you two holding up? This is so weird, isn't it?"
"Hey!" Michael waved, "We're doing great here. Your house is beautiful. Thank you so much for this opportunity."
"Yeah, we've both been wanting to visit this city for years," Gabe smiled.
"Bet you didn't expect to be there as a woman, huh?"
Gabe laughed, "No, definitely not."
Mary's husband Tom in Michael's body chimed in, "And with a husband, too! Hope you two are keeping it civil."
Michael turned pink, "Of course! We–"
"We would never do anything like that," Gabe interjected.
The call ended after some innocent discussion about logistics and the like.
"Oh my God," Gabe collapsed into his chair, "That was so weird talking to ourselves like that."
"Yeah," Michael replied, "Super weird. Mary makes you sound super gay, too."
Gabe laughed, "She totally does! It's kind of embarrassing."
"You sound like a total butch, by the way."
"Yeah, well I am a man in a woman's body," Gabe cleared his throat, "Does it sound more 'normal' if I talk more flamboyantly like this?"
"Honestly, yeah."
Gabe continued with his flamboyant impression of Mary, "Well I don't want to embarrass her, so maybe I'll just keep talking like this!"
"Must be easy for you to do, since you don't have any balls."
"Hey," Gabe elbowed Michael, "I can't argue with you on that though."
