Alan was a typical overweight teenage boy. His older sister, Gabby, was always so pretty. She always had it easy, and Alan had to admit he was a little jealous of her.
One sunny afternoon, Gabby's crazy friend, Annabelle was visiting, and he could only assume they were trying to cast some magic spells. Not that he believed any of that junk. He would rather doom-scroll alone on his phone.
Suddenly, the lights flickered. He felt his body getting lighter. And then he was quite literally floating above it. Then he found himself getting pulled towards the wall. He braced himself for impact, but he passed through it.
"What the fuck?" he had no idea what was going on.
Then, in an instant, he was launched towards Gabby, "Heeelp!"
But nothing happened. He cautiously opened his eyes. He was now sitting on the floor of Gabby's room, across from Annabelle.
"Hey, Gabby?" Annabelle asked, "You alright?"
"Uhhh," Alan was dumbfounded, "Yeah?"
He looked down at himself and gasped. He was wearing his sister's dress. Long blonde hair fell into his eyes.
"What the heck?" he muttered to himself.
But then he realized. Somehow... he had become his sister, Gabby. He should've been terrified, but somehow, he was ecstatic. This was impossible!
All those years of envying his sister... Now it was his turn. His turn to have it easy. To be pretty. To not have to worry about anything.
The door to Gabby's room blasted open.
"Annabelle!" Gabby, in his body, stood panting in the doorway, "...Alan?"
"What is going on?" Annabelle asked, looking from one to the other.
Alan stood up and walked over to Gabby-in-Alan, doing his best to impersonate his sister, "I don't know. Are you okay, Alan?"
"We swapped bodies!"
"What are you talking about?" Alan sneered, trying to push his sister away. It felt wrong. Wrong and... amazing.
"Annabelle, you've got to believe me," Gabby pleaded, "I don't know why he's acting like me."
"Acting like ...you? What are you talking about? Are you okay, Alan?" Alan puppeted Gabby's sweet voice.
