Groundhog Day - Part 2

The alarm clock blared, showing 7:15 AM yet again. Josh slammed his hand down on it, silencing the irritating buzz.

Josh's eyes fluttered open, and he found himself once again in Rachel's frilly pink bed. He groaned, realizing the loop had reset.

"Back to square one," he muttered, sitting up and pushing the hair out of his face.

But as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, the events of yesterday came flooding back - the impromptu road trip, the bar hopping, the karaoke disaster. He couldn’t help but crack a smile, as he realized that he felt no hangover symptoms at all.

"At least there's one perk to this mess," he mused.

He padded to the bathroom, now more comfortable navigating her apartment.

As he brushed his teeth, he pondered his next move. Yesterday's escapade had been fun, but ultimately fruitless in solving their predicament.

Rachel's phone rang.

"Maybe I should actually talk to Rachel this time," he said to his reflection. "Figure out what's happening on her end."

This time, he answered.

"Josh?" His own voice came through the speaker, sounding panicked, "Where were you yesterday? I've been freaking out!"

"Relax," Josh said, “I just needed some time to process all this.”

There was a pause on the other end of the line.

When Rachel spoke again, her tone was softer, "This is really happening, isn't it? We're... stuck like this?"

"Seems that way," Josh sighed, as he massaged her tits in the mirror.

"Look, can we meet up? Maybe if we're together, we can figure this out."

Josh hesitated, his hand still on Rachel's breast.

"Yeah, we should meet up," he agreed reluctantly.

He hung up, realizing that he needed to finish getting ready.

Josh stared at the phone for a moment, his mind racing. Meeting up with Rachel meant facing the reality of their situation head-on. Part of him wanted to run away again, to spend another day exploring life in Rachel's body without consequences. But he knew that wouldn't solve anything.

Josh turned his attention to his reflection - Rachel's reflection - in the mirror, his hand still absently cupping her breast. He knew he should stop, that it was a violation of Rachel's privacy, but he still hated her for what she did, and this was a small way of getting back at her.

With a sigh, he finished getting dressed, opting for a more modest outfit this time – jeans and a loose-fitting blouse. He had still struggled with the bra, fumbling with the clasps for several frustrating minutes before finally getting it right. Josh marveled at the way the bra lifted Rachel’s breasts, the outline of it making an imprint through her blouse.

As he finished getting ready, Josh couldn't help but wonder what Rachel had been doing in his body. Had she been just as curious? Just as tempted to explore? The thought made him uncomfortable, but also strangely excited.
