Inheritance - Part 3

Josh awoke the next morning. He lay still, momentarily disoriented, then everything rushed back as he glanced at his new body and felt the thrill all over again.

“I’m a girl,” he whispered to himself.

His cheeks flushed with the memory of what he had done the night before. He wondered if he might do it again tonight, the possibility expanding in his mind like a secret he was giddy to keep.

He hopped up and dressed, lingering for a moment over the soft fabrics and colors that once belonged to Grandma. The day promised adventure, and he couldn’t wait another second. He glanced at himself in the mirror, pleased with the sight of his reflection, then bounded out the door.

Emma was already at the kitchen table, absentmindedly stirring a bowl of oatmeal. Josh skipped into the room, watching her intent on her food.

“Good morning,” he chirped, delighting in his sing-song voice.

Emma squinted at him, “You’re awfully chipper.”

“Why wouldn’t I be? This is amazing!” He did another twirl, enjoying the way the skirt they’d found swayed around him.

“Oh my god,” Emma rolled her eyes, “Mom. Dad. We're just gonna let him prance around in Grandma's younger self like this?"

"Aw, come on now. I think it's kind of sweet!"

Their father reached for the coffee pot with a new urgency, his smile one of indulgence, "He's just having fun. Let him enjoy it."

“Fine, Josh. You win,” She paused and grinned with a hint of mischief, “Nice skirt, by the way.”

“Oh, thanks! It’s super cute, right?”

Emma shook her head but a smile tugged at her lips, “I can’t believe you’re this into it.”

Josh gave his tits another squeeze while their parents weren’t looking and laughed at her, the sound a mix of triumph and unrestrained joy.
